Abstract

Reports that United States President George W. Bush acknowledged that prewar intelligence on Iraq was flawed, but nevertheless defended his decision to go to war. Bush reacted to a Senate report criticizing the intelligence agencies for making the public believe Iraq was stockpiling weapons of mass destruction; Bush asserted that Saddam Hussein posed a threat to the U.S. and other nations.
