Abstract

Based on the literature, mild pain in the treated area is often experienced during and after the procedure, the majority of which resolves by 1 week.2 By contrast, our cases experienced pain extending beyond the confines of the treatment area. Although there was a time lapse between treatment and symptom onset in Case 2, cryolipolysis was most likely the causative agent because there was pain in the treated area extending into the oral cavity. Delayed onset pain associated with cryolipolysis treatment: a retrospective study with treatment recommendations. [Extracted from the article]
