Abstract

The article offers information related to prediction of lazarus effects in patients facing cancer. Topics discussed include patients having cancer face multiple stresses like contemplating mortality and accuracy of prognostication, loss of functioning, changing family dynamics and financial strain; and rapid development of new cancer therapies, prognostic uncertainty making more complex for patients and providers.
