Abstract

The article focuses on employees with disabilities in the medical laboratory workplace. Topics discussed include the challenge posed by disabilities in certain aspects of the job, purpose of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) passed by the U.S. Congress in 1990, and tasks required in working in a medical laboratory.
