First record of the genus Dambullaeus (Trombidiformes: Erythraeidae: Callidosomatinae) in China with description of a new species and a revised generic diagnosis.

Dambullaeus hainanensis Xu & Jin sp. nov. is described and illustrated based on larvae ectoparasitic on Delphacidae (Hemiptera) from Hainan Island, China.
