Abstract
- In this paper, we study the effects of pulse duration, ablation energy and liquid temperature on the formation, aging and self-assembly of nanoparticles during pulsed laser ablation. This report proves for the first time that indium hydroxide can be obtained by pulsed laser ablation of indium target in liquid, and regular nanostructures will be formed after aging and self-assembly processes. In the ablation process of zinc target, zinc and zinc oxide will be produced simultaneously, and zinc oxide is the inevitable result of aging. Compared with longer pulses, nanoparticles obtained by ultra-short pulses have smaller size, narrower size distribution and more stable structure. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
