BASF opens new research laboratory for colour and effect pigments.

In Germany, BASF has opened a new research laboratory at its Besigheim pigments production site near Stuttgart. The new facility will support the development of the company's inorganic colour pigments as well as the Paliocrom® effect pigments manufactured at the site and marketed under BASF's global Colors & Effects® brand.
