Abstract
- This article aims to discuss education and critical formation today, according to the Philosophical Pedagogy of Paulo Freire and the authors of the Critical Theory of Society, especially Walter Benjamin and Theodor Adorno. Some categories stand out for analysis, in a convergence of the authors' views, such as: education, emancipation, formation, semiformation, oppressed, oppressors, losers, winners and critical thinking. The challenge of educating for resistance seems precisely the challenge of knowing how to awaken the mass to the process of formation as emancipation, the achievement of autonomy and the adoption of critical thinking, given the daily challenges.
