Structural and Magnetic Properties of Six-Line Ferrihydrite Nanoparticles.

Magnetic properties of antiferromagnetic nanoparticles are not as straight forward as for ferromagnetic and ferrimagnetic nanoparticles. We analyzed the data of antiferromagnetic six-line ferrihydrite nanoparticles by considering distribution in particle magnetic moment. The fit of magnetization data, using non-linear least square fit procedure, considering Langevin function with and without distribution in particle magnetic moment, is presented.
