Maritime Security in the Persian Gulf.

The article focuses on the different considerations involved in maritime security in the Persian Gulf region. Topics include withdrawal of Washington from Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action and application of maximum pressure on Iran through economic and diplomatic sanctions, events in Persian Gulf in 2019 which underscores growing tension and the prospects of military confrontation, and massive hydrocarbon resources held by the Persian Gulf states.
