Abstract
- Two pocket diaries kept by John Mongtomery Roberts in the early 1830s add to the limited body of knowledge regarding the early history of Cahokia and the St. Louis Mound Group. They also illustrate how even such short diary entries have the potential to provide previously unknown information that can add to our knowledge of such sites. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
