Abstract

The competition between different decay modes such as binary fission, ternary fission, cluster and alpha decay modes finds an important role in the synthesis of superheavy nuclei. The nuclei 281Ds is the most stable among the isotopes of Ds. We have studied the different decay modes in superheavy nuclei 281Ds. It is observed that alpha decay half-lives are smaller compared to other modes. The alpha decay mode of 281Ds is observed with greater probability compared to binary fission. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
