Abstract

This research aims to study the determinants of foreign direct investment in the countries of the United States, Canada and Mexico, making a comparison of them. In order to achieve this goal, the theories of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) are first reviewed to understand the behavior and motivation of the introduction of the transnational corporations in the foreign countries. Subsequently, a statistical analysis is carried out in each of the studied countries, highlighting the origin, destination and the factor that impulse their FDI. Finally, the methodological section is reviewed and the econometric measurements are made in the analyzed countries. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
