This paper is a combination of rasters, quantitative and qualitative data on the woodfuel supply system of an eastern city of Senegal (Bakel). It questions the possibilities of supply in the domestic energy sector while insisting on the spatial organization of this offer with respect to a growing city and more and more demanding in terms of choice, quantity and quality of the type of fuel used. The analysis is discussed in terms of comparison in order to determine the explanatory factors of the location and dynamics of woodfuels to the city. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
