Abstract

The article discusses multiple studies on the thinning of the left ventricular apex. A study used multidetector spiral computed tomography (MDCT) to measure the parameters of the left ventricular apical thin-point (LVATP). Another studies examined the use of computed tomography (CT) to assess the LVATP and compared the performance of CTs and echocardiograms.
