Abstract: A series of experiments was conducted to obtain a nanocomposite based on organo-bentonite and a synthetic polymer polyvinylpyrrolidone by a hydrothermal method. Octadecilaminacetateprocessed bentonite was used as organoclay. Obtained samples were investigated by X-ray, IR spectroscopic methods of analysis.
