Abstract
- With the rapid development of contemporary building technology, the application performance requirements for concrete materials are getting higher and higher. Replacing traditional concrete structures and special structures built in harsh environments with high-performance concrete with high strength, high durability, and high workability has significant economic benefits. However, the properties of concrete materials are directly related to the microstructure, such as: pore structure, interface transition zone structure, and mix composition. This paper mainly studies the mechanical properties of modified nano-concrete. In this paper, axial compression test and split tensile test were performed on recycled concrete and recycled concrete modified with 0.5% -1.5% nano-silica. Effect of the amount of nano-silica on mechanical properties such as compressive strength, split tensile strength, elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio of recycled concrete. The test results show that when the nano-silica content is 0 to 1.5%, the compressive strength, split tensile strength, and peak strain of the nano-modified recycled concrete are higher than those before the modification, the nano-silica has a certain strengthening effect on the mechanical properties of recycled concrete.
