Abstract

This paper presents an experimental method for investigating the dependence of critical current on the applied magnetic-field intensity and the angular orientation in high-temperature superconductor (HTS) tapes and cables. Comparisons between critical-current measured and simulated data are presented as a function of field angular orientation. The obtained relation can be used as input data for numerical calculations or simulations for designing application devices that utilize HTS tapes and cables. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
