Abstract

Media in its comprehensive definition is the process of spreading facts and news honestly to serve the public interest, which is characterized by honesty and objectivity, and its goal of growth and vigilance and cultural and civilizational harmony, and raise the level of public opinion enlightenment and education. It is hard to deny that the media today is one of the most dangerous means of influencing individuals in behavioral and intellectual ways. After the development of its printed, audio and visual means, it became mass media, directed at millions of people at the same time. However, practically the use of Media is at variant with its theoretical concept and it is generally used for propaganda means, deception against the opponents. The State utilizes media for creating false consciousness to consolidate its authority over the masses. It is often argued that the European media is being used to corrupt the Muslims identity, culture and civilization. The Western Media leads the Muslims to destruction of their religion and morals. This proposed article examines the process of the media in the light of Islamic ethics in detail. This paper has been divided into the preface and three sub-chapters and conclusion. The first sub-chapter deals with the impact of the media on the behavior of the Muslim. The second subchapter examines the schools and the different media theories, including the reality of Islamic media theory. The third section also takes care of the transformation of the various media into means of propaganda, not media. The conclusion comes with the most important recommendations and proposals.
