El envejecimiento de la población en Cuba: una visión y propuesta desde la Biblioteca Pública.

This paper analyzes the rapid aging of the Cuban population from an informational perspective. In accordance with the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals, this work contributes to preventing this age group's feeling of exclusion from such an important process as society's digitalization, a fastmoving process in which both family and organizations are responsible for their education. A service for public libraries is proposed, as their social function is to meet their community's needs. This service will contribute to the social well-being as well as to the improvement in the quality of life of our elderly. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
