Une histoire littéraire à destination de l'etranger : le cas de l'Albanie communiste.

The study analyzes a particular case of national literary history in its international dimension: Enver Hoxha's communist Albania published in foreign languages, at local publishing houses, books on literary history topics, which were destined to be exported and reach foreign readers. The result was a truncated (partly legendary) image of Albanian literature. After outlining the particularities of the Albanian cultural history, and after having searched for the causes of the communist institutionalization of literature and of its historiography, we attempt to unveil the main discursive devices of those official texts (a literary history, anthologies and forewords to literary volumes).
