Abstract

This article delves into the subjects and vital topics of Eliacer Cansino's literature work destined to a young audience and invites us to reflect on how its enjoyment can develop the critical thinking of teenagers of the 21st century. To carry out this research, a descriptive methodology has been used, using the technique of documentary analysis. In this way, since literature and reality conform both faces of a coin in the training of young readers, considering precedent studies, it has been elaborated a check list related to the formative canon of the literature of adolescence and youth. The results justify that reading Eliacer Cansino's literature destined, initially, to a young audience is an essential literary reference that contributes to the development of critical thinking from the reading experience.
