Abstract
- The development of this proposal aims to establish criteria whose application reveals the suitability of the literary texts that Spanish as a foreign language students will work in the classroom. The evaluation method proposed here involves a reflective exercise around two concepts: the one of Harold Bloom's Western Canon and the one of literary canon for the teaching of languages, integrated in turn by four models: normative canon, canon available or materialized, canon direct and indirect canon. The thematic categorization of the corpus of intertextual micro-stories of the Leonese group and the analysis of their confluences founds a pattern for the exploitation of canonical works exemplified in Don Quixote.
