Abstract

The article offers information about the nanometer-scale skyrmions as prospective candidates for information bits in low–power consumption devices owing to their topological nature and controllability with low current density. It mentions the study on skyrmion dynamics in different classes of materials have exploited the topological Hall effect and current-driven fast motion of skyrmionic bubbles.
