Abstract

The article presents a study on diet and reproduction behavior of Naja kaouthia snakes that are reported from eastern to northern India Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, southern and southeast China, and southeast Asia where it is found around human settlements. It reports their clutches are known to comprise 12–33 eggs, with an incubation period of 50–60 days.
