Abstract
- The brief review of the historical record provided in this paper makes it apparent that each community, Palestinian and Jordanian, has concrete reasons to be wary of one another. But there are strong affinities exist between Palestinian-Jordanians and Transjordanians. Palestinian-Jordanians believe that the interaction between the two communities had molded them into one people. This study appears to imply that despite numerous differences between the two groups, Palestinians have come to call Jordan home-albeit not their homeland. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
