Abstract

There are inadequacies in evaluating learning, which has a bad effect on Cuban higher education training process. This paper is aimed at making a body of didactic suggestions for a better management of this process, which will contribute to a comprehensive training of university officers, academics and students. Some theories on and concepts of learning evaluation are presented. Didactic suggestions include, on the one hand, the interdependence between knowledge assimilation degrees, organization of teaching-learning process, teaching methods, and learning evaluation; and, on the other hand, the three stages of learning evaluation process. Didactic suggestions for an improved learning evaluation are made as well. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
