Dante for the Missionaries.

The article presents information about the book "Introductory Papers on Dante," by Dorothy L. Sayers. The present volume is a series of lectures delivered on various occasions and concerned with a number of problems of the interpretation of poet Alighieri Dante's imagery. These are good Dantean problems and it is obvious that it brings to them a scholarship both profoundly well informed and deeply thought. Sayers' zeal for Dante drives her to overstate and thence to over argue many of her points and even to develop a series of defenses of Dante.
