Abstract

Uterine fibroids (UFs), also known as myoma or leiomyoma, are benign smooth muscle neoplasms of the uterus that affect women of a reproductive age (Stewart et al. [8]). Therefore, two packed red blood cells were transfused and considering the acute nature of the patient's intra-abdominal bleeding and deteriorating hemodynamic status, an emergency laparotomy was performed.
