The article presents information about abstracts of various papers that will be discussed at the Platform Session of the 6th European Congress on Epileptology that will be held on June 1, 2004. One of the papers that will be discussed is "Quantitative Analysis of Spatio-Temporal Distributions of Interictal Events in Mesial Temporal Lobe Epilepsy," by J. Bourien. The quantitative analysis of interictal transient events over long periods brings substantial information about epileptogenic zone organization. Other papers that will be discussed are "Intracerebral-EEG Low-Voltage Rapid Activity in TLE Seizures: Analysis and Modelling," by F. Wendling and "Deep EEG Recordings in the Mammillary Body in Humans," by M. De Tourtchaninoff.
