The article presents information about abstracts of various papers that will be discussed at the Poster Session of the 6th European Congress on Epileptology that will be held on June 2, 2004. One of the papers that will be discussed is "The Effect of Technological Development in Preoperative Evaluation to Surgical Outcome of Temporal Lobe Epilepsy," by A. Erdem. Techniques such as scalp and invasive video/EEG monitoring, and structural and functional imaging, have contributed a lot to the surgical treatment of temporal epilepsy in recent years. Other papers that will be discussed are "Diagnostic Value of Non-Invasive Testing in the Decision to Perform Temporal Lobe Epilepsy Surgery," by S.G. Uijl and "Electric Source Imaging in Temporal Lobe Epilepsy," by M. Gavaret.
