Abstract

An interesting coordination complex based on a designed X ligand has been prepared. It displays a novel 4-connected uninodal net with point symbol (42·63·8) and vertex symbol [4.6.4.6.6.1012] which has never been observed in metal−organic frameworks/coordination polymers. Meanwhile, the compound displays intriguing structural features of interpenetration and self-catenation, as well as nonlinear optical properties.
