Abstract
- The article discusses how library vendors are meeting the needs of customers in the wake of COVID-19. Topics include factors that led Cambridge University Press (CUP) to conclude that the direct-to-student print textbook model is not viable in the long term, the agreement by all of the vendors that most of their academic library customers were anticipating budget cuts, and the discount being offered by EBSCO for libraries to convert print books from participating publishers into ebooks.
