Abstract
- The article describes the case of onychomadesis and phalanx osteolysis in congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis in a seven-year-old girl. Highlights include amputation of the digits of both hands on physical examination, complete anhidrosis revealed by a thermal sweating test, and the patient's treatment with iodophors and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
