Abstract
- The article presents the outlaw band known as the Cowboys operating freely in Arizona Territory. Topics include telling in countless newspapers, magazines, books, and films; detailing the relationship and antagonism between the Earp brothers and Doc Holliday on one side and the Clanton and McLaury brothers on the other; and gang colluding with dishonest ranchers, cattle dealers and butchers for smuggling and selling stolen livestock.
