Abstract

Objectives Meta-analysis was used to evaluate the seroprevalence of Anaplasmaphagocytophilumin Chinese mainland popupation, in order to provide a reference for the prevention and treatment of human granulocytic anaplasmosis. Methods Computer-researched literature on the seroprevalence of Anaplasmaphagocytophilum in Chinese mainland popupation was searched by Chinese and English databases -CNKI, VIP databases, WanFang Data and PubMed. First we determined the literature's inclusion and exclusion criteria, selected the literature and extracted relevant data, and recorded data in an Excel spreadsheet. And Rstudio software was used to perform meta-analysis of the seropositivity rate of A. phagocytophilum among Chinese mainland popupation,as well as subgroup analysis of gender, population characteristics and age groups. Results A total of 20 articles were included in the study. After calculation, the combined seroprevalence of A. phagocytophilum in mainland China was 17% (95%CI 0.11-0.23),and the positive rate after male combination was 15% (95% CI 0.02-0.39), the women's A. phagocytophilum positive rate was 10% (95% CI 0.04-0.17),P<0.01; The seropositivity rate of healthy population data was 13% (95%CI 0.08-0.20) and the seropositivity rate of high-risk data group was 20% (95%CI 0.10-0.32),P<0.01. The positive rate of the age group ≤54 was 24% (95%CI 0.11-0.40),age group 55-69 was 24% (95%CI 0.06-0.49), age group ≥70 was 22% (95%CI 0.07-0.42),P<0.01. 20 studies were tested as not publication biased. Conclusion The total positive rate of A. phagocytophilum in Chinese mainland population is not high, but it has a potential increasing trend. It is worth making attention to the majority of medical workers in order to prevent and treat it early. According to this meta-analysis, gender and population characteristics may be factors influencing the seroprevalence of A. phagocytophilum in Chinese mainland population. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
