Abstract

The aim of this work is to analyze a low-voltage power grid in steady-state with power injection of photovoltaic systems, in order to quantify the impact by means of indicators associated with the RMS value and voltage profile, voltage unbalance, losses in the conductors and direction of power flows. The power grid was studied for five defined scenarios and ten percentages of injection of PV power (1%, 3%, 5%, 10% 15%, 20%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of the rated capacity of the transformer). A quasy-dynamic analysis was performed with steps of one hour for a year. From the results, it can be deduced that the impact produced in the analyzed electrical parameters is related to the place and the installed capacity of the PV autogenerators. Injection percentages greater than 50% are unfavorable for the grid in the five scenarios. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
