Abstract

Along with the popularity of flexible electronic products, the requirements for flexible energy storage devices are also increasing, including high energy density, long‐term stability, and high‐grade safety. Among various flexible energy storage devices, flexible lithium–air batteries are expected to be one of the best candidates due to their high energy density and environmental friendliness. In order to realize the broad application of flexible lithium–air batteries with high performance, flexibility, and safety, many efforts are made. Here, the recent achievements in flexible lithium–air batteries are discussed, highlighting the flexible cathodes, polymer electrolytes, flexible anodes, operating in ambient air, and battery structural design. Besides, future research perspectives in flexible lithium–air batteries are presented. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
