Abstract

Pediatric dentistry, one of the dental specialties in the care of infant patients, must be able to resolve their cases and recognize the profile of the patient being treated, understand their family environment and how it affects the health-disease process. Studies on the use of health services are considered important, as they allow to characterize the user population, identify their health conditions and their motivations for seeking, fundamental aspects in the planning and organization of health actions. The study aimed to understand the epidemiological profile of child patients treated at a dental school clinic, aiming to support the planning of health actions compatible with local demand.
