Os sentidos da cidade: o Porto nos mapas mentais dos estudantes.

This article aims to discuss and reflect about some results of a research which main objective was to know and analyse the symbolic field of the city of Porto and its representations through the students of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto. By choosing a convenience sample, an online questionnaire survey was applied resulting in a set of 108 valid answers. In order to know the mental images of the students, 5 mental maps were collected. The results make it possible to know and deconstruct the city by the student's eyes through a reading of their mental organization they do from it and the elements that they identify as guiding in the space.
