Abstract

The optical limiting (OL) properties of a novel coordination polymer {[Et4N][Ag2I3]}n with a ladder-like framework were investigated using 532-nm nanosecond laser pulses. The coordination polymer in dimethylformamide solution exhibits better OL performance than C60 in toluene. The results were discussed using a phenomenological model based on excited-state nonlinear absorption. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
