Methods for improving efficiency and environmental safety of cooling systems.

The paper analyzes the methods of increasing efficiency and environmental safety of refrigeration systems for oil and gas refineries. A comparative assessment of the effectiveness in refrigeration cycles using various refrigerants was implemented. Particular attention is paid to increase effectiveness of centrifugal compressors by reducing irreversible losses in refrigeration cycles and the use of new scheme solutions. The main approaches for the terms of reference formation how to manufacture compressor equipment taking into account the optimal control methods were revealed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
