The economic rationale for the use of autonomous sources of energy for construction and economic needs in a highly continental climate.

The article describes the experience of using wind power stations in Russia, presents the choice and rationale for the use of alternative sources of electricity for the Omsk region. The design allows to increase the speed of the air flow in the field of energy extraction by 1.45 times, which allows to obtain three times more energy than a wind power plant with a similar area of wind wheel sweeping.
