Abstract
- This paper deploys a bibliographic and theoretical revision to understand the subjective processes in the curricular mediation of visual arts teachers in Chile. The paper articulates concepts such as device, object/new materialism, subjectivity/subject and affections. The purpose is to make non-binary readings about the appropriation of visual arts teachers in the formal education system and their subjective constructions regarding to the curriculum. The paper emerges from a research that seeks non-tangential answers to the following questions: What are the implications of the curriculum in the construction of teaching subjectivity?
