Abstract
- The article focuses on discovery of cadenza to movement of composer Beethoven's Violin Concerto by composer Henri Vieuxtemps which sheds light on performance history of work. Topics discussed include violinist's copy of cadenza that was reprinted, manuscript from the musician Joseph Joachim estate in Berlin, Germany and career of Vieuxtemps from Franco-Belgian violin school.
