Development of an advertising application linking with Google services.

Recently traditional advertisement approaches have become less reliable techniques to promote organizations and marketers' products. Owing to the fact that a mobile phone is owned by only a unique user, who is greatly involved with the phone content, it can be considered as an effective communication channel. Therefore, mobile advertising has become the most efficient alternative. Pushing notification can be regarded as the most ideal mobile advertising form as it has the power of delivering appropriate content to targeted costumers who cannot ignore it. Remote push notification is a form of push notification, which presents the content to the user even if he/she is outside the application and might direct him to the application if necessary. Thus, in this paper a typical mobile application for advertisement using remote push notification has been designed and developed. Visual Studio C# 2017, Xamarin, cross-platform application, XAML language were used to develop the application. In addition, several Google services including Firebase cloud messaging and Google map APIs have been used in the application development.
