Abstract
- The Schur complement has many applications in linear algebra and in numerical analysis. Schur complement identities have been used for implementing some scalar and vector extrapolation methods. In this paper we define some matrix sequence transformations and give two new Schur complement identities that will be used to derive algorithms for implementing these transformations.
