Abstract

Lichen aureus is a rare form of pigmented purpuric dermatoses, characterized by golden yellow, coppery or bronze plaques mostly seen on the lower extremities, asymptomatic. Young adults are frequently seen less frequently in the pediatric age group. Diagnosis of the disease; made according to clinical and histopathological features. In recent years, in addition to melanocytic and nonmelanocytic neoplastic diseases, dermoscopy can be used for the diagnosis of lichen aureus as well as many other skin diseases. Here we present a child case of lichen aureus and presented with clinical, histopathological and dermoscopic findings with literatüre. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
