Abstract

The article discusses the questions on Germany's ability to fight far-right extremism by citing its complacency in recruiting military personnel as shown in the case of a German Army lieutenant, who allegedly impersonated a Syrian refugee to carry out assassination plots by a far-right group. The aim of the plot is to topple the Federal Republic of Germany. Also mentioned are how the impersonator was arrested and his claim that his aim is to expose the flaws of Germany's asylum system.
