Synthesis of Sulfonylated Heterocycles via Copper‐Catalyzed Heteroaromatization/Sulfonyl Transfer of Propargylic Alcohols.

An unprecedented copper‐catalyzed heteroaromatization/sulfonyl transfer of propargylic alcohols with isocyanide has been developed. 3‐Sulfonyl benzofurans and indoles were produced under Cu(I) catalysis in good to high yields.
